1. Welcome to Yabakei – A Living Landscape Scroll (11 km/ 所要時間）

Yabakei is a mystical gorge sculpted by rivers eroding a volcanic plateau, creating dramatic rock pillars, sheer cliffs, caves, waterfalls, and giant boulders. This breathtaking panorama resembles an ink painting brought to life.

Each turn reveals a new scene—step into the ever-changing landscape scroll of Yabakei.

Embark on a guided 11km cycling adventure along the picturesque Maple Yaba Course, tracing the path of an old railway. Feel the invigorating breeze and immerse yourself in nature's beauty as you pedal through stunning landscapes.

After your ride, refuel and relax with a delicious farm-to-table lunch buffet at a local farmer's restaurant. Savor fresh, seasonal ingredients straight from the source, prepared with local love.
It's the perfect way to nourish your body and soul after your active morning!

Teramachi: Just east of Nakatsu Castle, you'll find a historic district with twelve concentrated temples that also served as a defense line for the castle town
